Lawrence Dyer / Sarah Singleton

=========================================

LAWRENCE DYER
The Gravedigger (Nemo 1)

Issue 1 of Nemo seems a long time ago now, and since those heady days
my life has gone through an extraordinary period -- singularly
extraordinary, that is, in a life that is already pretty far out (or
so it appears to me, at least). This period culminating appropriately
enough (given Des's latest email with the subject line 'Nemo's Ark')
in my moving house this week to a building that looks like Noah's Ark
standing on its head. Really, it does, just like that. Writing: still
doing it, though not enough of it, and not sending much of it out.
But all that could change soon. Will change soon. 'A Cottage on the
Moss' is still doing well -- read more about it at
http://www.acottageonthemoss.com
What more to say? Plenty, but this is enough I think.

SARAH SINGLETON
Showcase (Nemo 2)

Des says:

I'm afraid I've not been able to make contact with Sarah Singleton, but her writing success seems to have gone from strength to strength, judging by her homepage:
http://www.crowmaiden.plus.com/

She wrote in 2003: "'Showcase' was not universally applauded in the various reviews ... but one or two people picked it out as a favourite - which pleased me enormously. Nemo is not just another magazine - it is an idea - an event. It has stirred debate, controversy and endless discussions. Long may that continue."

I prefer the word 'happening, to 'event'!

There are now seven writers left for us to enjoy their post-Nemo bios - because I have been able to contact them and they have told me that they will produce one.
