DAVID MATHEW
Scrounge (Nemo 3)
Since publishing 'Scrounge' in Nemo, I've published a book of short stories, DIE EARTHMAN DIE, with M.F. Korn, Hertzan Chimera and Uncle Des himself. I've published a solo collection, PARANOID LANDSCAPES. I've finished a novel, which is going through its second draft, and I've landed a job in a high-security male prison, in the Education Department, which will (no doubt) supply excellent material for later on.
It was an honour to be chosen for Nemonymous. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, from soup to nuts.
PS: I don't have a website or blog, by the way, and never will.
Des adds: Dave is also a great book reviewer and co-editor of 'Interzone'.

JEFF HOLLAND
Practice (Nemo 3)
I am still practising! I was pleased this ‘story’ received an Honourable Mention in "Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror" but this fact has not yet spurred me into showing more of my writing to publishers. I think ‘Practice’ was the first and last piece of work that was ever submitted outside of my home. However, when my long-awaited retirement from a lifetime of working for a living (as opposed to writing!) finally arrives in the next few years, who knows what literary ambitions I might begin to harbour!
Des adds: If I was forced to make a choice, Jeff’s ‘Practice’ would be the one story from the Nemonymous canon I would take to a desert island.
